The Carondelet House invites you into a world of style and intrigue that combines vintage textures with urban flair. This gorgeous event space curates an experience of endless possibilities.

Living History

Built in 1926, the venue once served as the home of one of the most prominent architects in Los Angeles. Later acquired by the Otis College of Art and Design, the building’s creative lineage is evident in the unique design details throughout the property. There is simply no other property like it in all of Los Angeles.

North & South Studio

Hand stenciled fresco ceilings draw the eye as you enter the front rooms. The north studio features masculine seating vignettes with divine feminine artwork. The baby grand piano is a sweet serenade ready to be played or can simply serve as another element of rich décor. Wander to the south studio for vintage, well curated seating vignettes, and tasteful artwork. These rooms pair as the perfect setting for cocktails, small bites, conversation, and dancing.

Salle

Sophistication meets urban flair with exposed wood beam ceilings highlighted by dual skylights and three crystal chandeliers. Wide industrial windows soak light from the courtyard and cascade on the greenery adorning the red brick walls and warm hardwood floors. The principal wall features a mirrored, dark wood altar that reflects this astounding room.

The Courtyards

The central courtyard brings life to the heart of the house. The hexagon brick flooring, ornate tiled fountain, soaring tree, soft string lights, and wood chandelier hold you in while outdoors. With its nearly enigmatic existence, the rear courtyard charms you. From the luxuriant jewel lanterns, café style seating, and lush greenery, this space is a secret worth discovering.

The Den

Tucked to the side of the salle, the den embraces you with masculine energy. The deep red leather lounge calls you to sit by the wood burning fireplace and admire the vintage books and unique collector’s items.

The Bridal Suite

Nestled at the top of the stairs is our bridal suite. This private, spacious room exudes blush tones in its cheerful atmosphere. It is best enjoyed with a glass of chilled champagne and your closest friends.
